And Natalie did indeed have it. :blink: She's completely recouperated, thankfully...back to her normal self. With how quickly she recovered, I was SURE that it wasn't anything too serious.
All the kids in my car pool were sick with this as well my kids came down with it too but I never took them in to be tested. They were sick about 3 days and now are all fine. Neighbor car pool kids were sick a week though. So odd! Glad that your daughter is feeling better!
We've had a number of friends around here with it and they all said they'd rather have it than the regular flu any day.
Granted, none of them have any underlying serious conditions that would make them weaker to any of the flu strains, but they said comparatively, it was easier than the regular flu.
My kids had it (well, flu type A which the Dr. said most likely H1N1 since they had seasonal vacs). My dd tested positive but she only had a headache and body aches. My boys had all the symptoms (except the tummy stuff) but they were all over it within 48-72 hours.
Like xboxmom said, other kids would have it for so much longer and that's really strange.
