so I'm curious......... do your kids fart, like.. a TON... constantly.. ? I'm wondering if it's just him being a gross boy.. or if it's a food thing. He's been on a gluten free diet forever now.. and I recently started trying to add in a little wheat bread here or there, we started reallly slowly and he was fine, no diarrhea, no getting sick, no tummy pains.. nothing.. but now he's freakin farting all the time LOL.. and really really smelly gross gag farts, not just you know making noise. I'm going to cut the bread back out again and see if it makes it stop of course.. but I wanted to know if maybe it's just a normal kid thing to fart all the time haha.

ROFLOL... My boys pass gas constantly! It's insane and something I constantly complain about because I'm the only girl in the house with FOUR boys...so it's seriously smelly!
So I guess what I'm saying is that my boys are pretty gassy and neither complain of any stomach problems, so I just always assumed it was a gross boy thing.

My 5yo daughter toots ALL THE TIME. I have no idea why, she is just super gassy and they usually smell pretty bad. She eats a lot of veggies, maybe that is it?

Mine eat a lot of veggies, but they don't fart much. Not even my boy. But he's not into gross boy things in general, maybe he farts in his room? LOL

My son and I are off gluten (suspected celiac on his part) and all I have to say is if I cave and eat the tiniest thing that may or may not contain gluten I'm gassy for a day or two. It's gross! I hope you figure out what it is...

define "all the time" :P
generally - from reading this thread, I think I'm a rather lucky mom of four boys, they fart, but you know not more than a few farts a day total around here :P unless that qualifies as "all the time" in that case, maybe I'm just a really easy going mom in the farting department LOL
now i'm considering keeping tally...
now i'm laughing :P

I think at that age both my boys would fart alot. And they delighted in telling me they did as if I didnt know. Now they do it and blame it on someone else. My brothers both farted alot when they were younger too. It was BAD!!!

ALLLLLL the time shawna.. lol. I'm pretty easy on the farting, but seriously, 99% of what I heard last night was "excuse me" (at least he's polite lol)..

Does he eat/drink a lot of dairy stuff? I know that can create some stinky farts in my son! lol!

If mine didn't have regular (like every day) bowel movements, they were gassy and farted all the time. Adding the gluten back in will def make him more gassy though! I know that if I have any carbs in the evening, I'll wake up sick and bloated in the am. I've been doing carbs galore for the last few days in NY, and yep...I'm all bloated. It was a price I was willing to pay though! LOL!
