:( Out of town for a wedding on DSD!

The week started with my 4 year old getting pneumonia and DH just getting over it. Then Thursday, after work and 5 IEP meetings for my students, we drove 9 hours to Kansas for a family wedding getting into the hotel around 12:30 (of course my kids were still up like clockwork at 6:00 am the next morning). Long story short, I'm going to miss DSD! BUT I couldn't resist and wanted grab a laptop and take a quick peek to at least see what I'm missing today.

I was SO thrilled to see one of my questions picked for Simply Sweet, so I got a nice surprise... and I still may have to shop (just as quickly as possible!) Obviously the bride didn't know how her schedule interferes with my addiction... I mean hobby....

Oh Stephanie, I totally feel your pain. Both Jim and I are getting over pneumonia. It is not fun!! It takes awhile to get over it too ... I am so sorry. BUT, how fun that your question was picked!!! Whopeee!!! Try to have fun at your wedding and we will talk to ya when you get back!! Happy DSD to you too!

TOTAL bummer! I had to sit through 2 hours of Chinese children dancing to Chinese songs, even though my kid was in the first class and I could have left at 10:15, just because he was in the finale, and then I thought it was over and MISSED the finale. All the while DSD was taking place without me.
