Anyone else have trouble getting in the shoppe on DSD?

I tried and tried all day. I could get to the shoppe, but then most of the items didn't have an image, and when I tried to click on them, it told me that I was denied access or something like that.

I missed out on all of the goodies that I was planning on getting, and I am SO bummed! Just wondering if it was me, or if the site was having troubles?!
 
doing some of the contests I would get a page saying it was temporarily unavailable periodically. I think the site just had loads and loads of traffic this weekend
 
I was able to make a purchase- but I intended to come back and buy more (a lot more!) but couldn't get back in. I was only able to buy about half of what I wanted to- I gave up because the shop was loading so slowly. I'm sad :(

I had a few issues from time to time but, not anything that kept me from being able to get in eventually. I know we had an hour or two where the shop and galleries were down but, that was because Robin was having some things done to help prevent the bog down on the servers and after that, I really never had an issue.
 
um, i shopped like 8 times... wasn't planning to buy anything really, but kept going back later to get something else. lol
 
Yeah after about 7pm PST on DSD, the shoppe ran fairly well and I left the sale on until Noon Sunday to compensate for Saturday afternoon where the server kept dropping connections due to database issues. Once those were fixed in the early evening, it was pretty smooth sailing all night in the shoppe and I was up til 2-3am surfing myself just to make sure things were clickable and transitioning well between categories/products/shopping cart.

Robin, thanks so much! I didn't even think to check back on Sunday (since I thought the sale was only on Saturday) - duh!! I'll keep checking the newsletter every week. :)

I was in pretty much all night Sat. night and Sunday morning, US time. You are clearly not obsessed enough. ; ) I was out part of the time so I did some rush shopping before I went to my son's program and then finished up when I got home.

Black Friday is a pretty big sale day in digi land too, so you might get a good deal then. If I can use up all my new goodies by then, I will be splurging that weekend, too. And I have already used TWO of the kits I bought from here!
 
Now that DSD is over I have some coupons to spend in the shoppe. Need another sale! :thumbup: lol
