What were you wearing in the 90's?

I did the t-shirt clip (kinda scrunch your t-shirt to one side with a little plastic clip thing) and I remember neon spandex being cool...

Do you guys remember slap braclets? ROTFL

I didn't wear this, but my boys wore black spandex shorts (with strips on the sides sometimes) and neon shirts. It was great when we went somewhere...I could always see them! LOL!

I wore stirrup pants with long tunic tops and sweaters, and granny boots with the hooks and eyes! So sad!!

Oh yeah! Stirrup pants, bodysuits, overalls - I wore them all! With my mile-high bangs too! Hehe!!!

i remember stirrup pants! and the spandex and the bodysuits with overalls. this may have been more late 80s, but remember 'pegging' your pants? i thought it was cool because being so tall my mom had problems finding pants that were long so pegging made me sort of fit in, lol. but my mom couldn't figure out why i wanted longer pants but would peg them and make them short anyway, lol. i dont' think i did much big bangs but i had a few kinky perms.

stir-ups, bodysuits, slap bracelets, plastic clips to tie shirts, puff paint, scrunchies, shlouch socks, pony tail on the side.

vests, man's ties, oversized sweaters with tank tops... oversized shirts with tank tops underneath... button covers... I had the wedge hairdoo for a few years... then chopped it off like Jane on Melrose Place (the original).

LOL... I found those slouch socks at a Hane's Outlet mall a few weeks back... can you believe they are still making those?? Well, I suppose they could still be hold overs from the 90's...

cut off jeans (right above the knee) rolled up with ked's tennis shoes were really big around here after Dirty Dancing came out...my mom wanted to kill me b/c I cut off all my blue jeans :)

stirrup ... forgot about those ... I still have my scrunches that I wear at home! LOL! Doesn't break my hair!! :D That was funny!

Haha I'm a little younger so I was wearing all that stuff as a little kid, but I came into my own in the late nineties and my generation was the king of the boys with the GIANT pant legs and their but hanging out. Oh yeah baby.

I remember a lot of plaid too so I must've been in on the grunge era :)

I did all of those, and I'll add spin-art tshirts and MC Hammer-style palazzo pants to the mix. It was so horrendous looking back. In the early 90's, Yaga shirts were the big thing where I lived (TX).

lol Yeah, I was in elementary school and I wore what my step-mom made me wear... and I HATED IT! In like 4th and 5th grade those really wide leg jeans and big baggy shirts were in style and she was still making me wear stirrup pants, huge sweaters, clipped shirts, scrunch socks, and extremely poufy hair.

I remember scrunchies and those awful socks, but I went to kind of a preppy school, so I was spared the worst horrors.. At my school it was all 501 jeans, polo shirts and v-neck jumpers. With pearl earings. Those were very important.

I remember those t-shirts that changed colour with the temperature though, but that may have been late 80s? Worst. Idea. Ever. My mum put mine in the tumble drier so it stopped working, and I didn't speak to her for weeks:)

Oh yes flannel...I started college in 1992 when the grunge look was at it's peak...

and don't forget doc martens... :)

and high waisted button fly jeans in the early 90's..

and baby-doll dresses over jeans...

:)

Ooh - I had doc martens too. Lots of them. I found a pair in the loft the other day, they were like a burgundy kind of red colour, and I had covered them inb silver spraypaint. Nice. They made like a trail of glitter everywhere I walked.

diapers :p

okay, not really, but yeah, I was really young then too, like kindergarten - middle school. So, yeah, I don't remember. lol

Hyper Color shirts ... it was really bad being one of the "developed" kids so I had 2 big circles in the front on my shirt.

I was younger, too, in the 90's (I was born in 81). I remember silk shirts w/ each panel a different color. I wore overalls w/ the one strap unhooked. Remember frencholling the bottom cuff of your tapered jeans?

Ah... good times....

YES! Hyper color shirts! I had a hyper color sweatshirt and my mom accidentally washed it wrong and it was all blotchy and didn't change colors after that.

I graduated in '96 so I had the tall bangs too, and the big fluffy curly perms! I wore stirrup pants and super long shirts & sweaters, baby doll dresses with t-shirts, bodysuits with vests, overalls, pegged my jeans, wore slouchy socks and layered pairs of different colored socks too, mary janes and shoes with big chunky heels. I only wanted to shop @ places like Maurices, Vanity, 5-7-9, the County Seat, the Buckle and a few other places I can't remember the names of now. I also remember having to have certain name brand jeans - Mossimo, Guess, Pepe & Z Cavaricci. I had three different pairs of Doc Martens (boots and two different pairs of sandals), actually I still have them in the back of my closet but haven't worn them in years lol! I also remember the Big Johnson shirts were popular with the guys, of course they got in trouble for wearing them to school! Oh and the hyper color shirts were big, I don't think I ever had one though.

Several of my brothers & stepbrothers are 6yrs younger than me and they wore those JNCO jeans with the huge legs!

I was into grunge too (my first concert ever was Nirvana) so I used to wear my dad's flannel shirts over a t-shirt. To keep it sexy I chose very carefully where to punch holes in my jeans, if you see what I mean! ;) Oh, and I went to second hand shops and bought reaaaaaally old pants, very wide, with stripes... the Charlie Chaplin kind. Loved them, but they didn't like the washer (the got way too short after a couple wash, I guess they were in wool).
