what type of hair dye do you use?

I may never dye my hair black again :thumbdown: omgosh.. so, I've whined before.. .but I've had greys all my life (literally- though it was just a few strands when I was a wee one lol).. they really started exploding when I Was 17-18 though.. so you can imagine it's pretty bad now 10yrs later, but my hair is constantly dyed.. I'd actually stopped noticing them so much c/o the bleaching/streaking etc.. obviously lol. But yeh.. This dye, for whatever reason .. totally did not stick to my greys (sparkling silver actually ) my roots aren't even showing as it hasn't been that long since I dyed it.. but my hair is full of them. I was just looking in the mirror, thinking it was just one or two showing, till I moved some of my hair and found more and more and more .. omgosh.. it was horrible Anyway.. What type of dye do you use .. that actually like really covers for more than a couple of weeks? Otherwise I'm just going blonde .. cause I can't deal ^_^

I think gray hair can get really resistant to color. I have some gray, not a lot, and I use Loreal hair color. It works really well and gives my hair nice texture.

I use L'Oreal Feria hair color and it sticks pretty well!

I'm no help either...mine is Loreal Excellence Lightest Natural Blonde and has been for so long that it's just completely bleached.

I go to the salon. I'm too scared to do my own hair. But I don't have any grey yet, unless I've gotten some in the past 2-3 months...which is possible LOL.

Lauren,I'd be almost 50/50 if I let my color grow out. I go black, too. I can't remember what brand I use, but it's the cheapest there is, and I use a soft black. It really covers it well. I've found that the more expensive brands don't cover as well and go dull quicker.

I dont dye my hair anymore but since Im blonde I dont notice grey hair if I do have them. What I do notice is that I have thick black hairs growing in now. Not alot like maybe a dozen or so. Its weird since Ive always been blonde to be getting black hairs

I dye mine every 6 weeks. I have almost black hair naturally and have been grey since about oh, 23. I use either Feria or Loreal. I have had really good luck with Feria.
