The first showing here is actually tomorrow at 2pm EST, but since my fiance works in the UK during the week and also wants to see it I have to wait until he's home on Saturday.

My sister watched Twilight 2 weeks ago without having read the books, and loved it. So she bought the boxed set and is plowing through them now, lol. She's going to see it on saturday with a girlfriend and I'm totally jealous. :( NONE of my friends around here are into the Twilight scene. I might make my best friend go with me next weekend though, if she's around, lol.

My fiance and I saw Twilight last year also before reading the books, so we both liked it too. Now I've read all the books 3 or 4 times. New Moon looks so much more promising than Twilight.

I think we're going to wait till like a 10 am matinee on monday to try to avoid the teen girl scene as much as possible, they totally made twilight seem even more campy and stupid than it already was and since new moon looks like it ight be a lot better, I'm hoping that by avoiding the squealing I'll actually like it. LOL

I'm seeing it with a friend who is rubbish and hasn't finished the book yet. So I'm waiting for her. She was here last night, and I sent her home early so she could read her book;)

I'm borrowing my sister's copy of New Moon so I can read it again while we're up there for Thanksgiving. I should have it done quickly enough. I would like to see it next weekend if at all possible.

I've been rereading the series (3rd time through) in preparation for the movie. I have to wait until next week to go so that my parents can babysit for my kids while we're there for Thanksgiving. I'm dragging DH with me (and will make him watch Twilight ahead of time, too).

I don't have any tickets yet. My best friend was going to surprise me with tickets for my birthday tomorrow, but then she found out that around here, it isn't playing til Friday night ... and she has a hockey tournament all day Saturday, with her first game at 8:30am. lol So I don't know if she is still going to do that (she told me this morning, which is why it won't be a surprise anymore), or if we will just suck it up and wait two weeks until we go for our weekend away with no kids (we are taking the hubby's, but they will probably go watch a different movie).

My Mom and I are going to a matinee on Saturday, we can't wait!! My SIL and my niece are going on Monday to a matinee since her kids are out of school all next week for Thanksgiving break, and they asked if I wanted to go with them but I don't think I can wait that long lol! Plus my kids & DH schools aren't out for break til Wednesday so I wouldn't have anyone to watch the kids during the day on Monday anyway.
When I saw Twilight with my BIL and his girlfriend we went to the midnight showing and it was a TON of screaming teenage girls too! So far only the midnight showings and most of the Friday evening showings are the ones sold out here so I'm hoping that's when most of the crazy teenage girls are going and it won't be quite so bad on Saturday!

I have tickets (actually the conformation #) for 10:45 am Saturday morning. I am going with 2 of my SILs. They are 10 years younger than me so I am glad there is something we have in common and can enjoy together.
I am hoping that it is too early for the screaming teens. All the stars aligned and I was able to have the day to myself so I am taking advantage of it of an early movie and shopping the rest of the day!
