A little disconcerting...

I'm sitting here not knowing whether to laugh or hang my head in shame, haha.

On nights I cook (which is only 1 or 2 times a week - bad I know), it takes forever, and then Avalynne usually just picks at it (she's 2). She ends up eating quite a bit, but it takes her quite awhile.

For lunch today I pulled out leftovers from DH's supper he made for them the other night (I was working). It was HAMBURGER HELPER (eww). Avalynne has literally gobbled it up. Had her plate clean in 3 minutes or less.

I'm ashamed, lol.
 
i get sick of Hamburger Helper, but its quick and easy on nights i really dont feel like cooking. which happens a lot, lol.
 
We make imitation hamburger helper ALL THE TIME. I get super sick of it, but Jordan and his brother live to eat beef. So ground beef + egg noodles + parm cheese = heaven for them.
 
We're not big on hamburger helper but we love Tuna Helper..the Creamy Broccoli is really good..I make a pan of Jiffy Cornbread and have sweet peas on the side..don't know why but it's a great combo lol :)
 
Andrew and I pick up Tuna Helper once every 3-4 months. Love it!! JP's convinced he wants Hamburger Helper, but I told him we'll just stick some ground beef into my mac & cheese instead. :p
 
My little guy loves hamburger helper too. All my kids except my super picky one eats it without complaint - who knew?

Hey if the kids love it and will eat it why not!? I make it quite a bit over here too and my kids are always like, "Mom when are you going to make Hamburger Helper again?" At least its fast and easy. Don't feel bad its a life saver sometimes.
 
mine LOVE the beef pasta one..I add a bag of frozen broccoli to it and it's GONE usually! They like the Stroganoff with some sour cream and broccoli too :) We only have it maybe once every couple of months though..lol
