What no New Moon thread yet???

I think I have a New Moon hangover. LOL!! I am wiped and can't believe I went to the midnight showing. We didn't get home until 3 a.m. Our theater we went to had all 16 screens showing New Moon at Midnight and I was all prepared for standing in line for a couple of hours and for all the screaming teens. Boy was I shocked when at 10 p.m they let us get our seats!!! We watched everyone streaming in and I was surprised at how different the crowd was this year. More people my age and more men!! LOL!! Okay, my DH was there too. The biggest shock was the lack of screaming!! It was so nice to actually hear the movie. I am not going to give anything away but I will say I loved this one more than the last and my only complaint is they need to hire a new make up artist for the next one.

Aaaaaaaaaaaah! I can't wait! My mom and I are going tonight and I'm so looking forward to it!

My Mom & I are going tonight too, we ended up getting tickets for the 8:45 show!! I am counting down the hours!!

my daughter and I went today and I thought it was ok. I actually liked Twilight better though. Maybe because the second book was my least favorite of all four.

I went to the midnight showing last night. We got our seats at 10:45 after standing in line for an hour (no pre sell here) in the cold. That means we sat in our seats for over an hour before the movie started. There was lots of screaming and ooh/ahh in my theatre. But I had fun, had a girls night out (which I never get to do) and I thought the movie was awesome. I was much more pleased than the last one.

I've got absolutely no desire to see this one. The first movie left such a bad taste in my mouth...she's a HORRIBLE actress...no budget can fix that. Plus, I didn't care for the second book at all.

It was very good. I'd pay to go see it again if not just for Taylor Lautner! Ok yes the 17 year old is hot BUT he's also a fabulous actor! I could feeeeeeel his pain and it made me sad!!

yes to what Melissa said - they need a new makeup artist for the next movie and ditto Traci - Taylor really can ACT! He really stood out in this film!

We went last night and I LOVED it! This was my least favorite book too but I thought the movie was much more balanced than the book so it wasn't as hard to get through. ;) I thought the acting was better, the special effects were better, and they stayed pretty true to the book. I went with my mom last night and I'm planning to see it again later on with dh. :) I'm usually so disappointed in movies made from books but I was pleasantly surprised with this one!

All I can say is that is was awesome. I really enjoyed watching it from the beginning to the end and I agree there was some amazing acting by Taylor Lautner. The guy is not only super cute but talented as well :)

I went to see it on Thursday and I really liked it. Taylor Lautner is AMAZING (and darn sexy!!), and I agree with the make up artist change. Is it me, or is Rosalie just ugly? She's supposed to be the most beautiful woman you could ever imagine, and the actress is gorgeous, but the movie don't do her justice AT ALL!! Oh, and definitely prefer Robert Pattinson with his shirt on... he's got a beautiful face, but the rest... uh oh, not that much! LOL

I agree, I agree, I agree on all points!!

I looooooooooved this movie! And, it was my least favorite book, too so I was worried. Jacob didn't seem as whiny and needy in the movie as in the book, and HOLEY COW...his body. Sheesh. And, just knowing that he is LITERALLY HOT to the touch...wow!

The makeup...what were they thinking? Edward did have on more lipstick than Bella for sure! I thought that was sort of funny. And, weren't their eyes more weird in this one?!? IDK...they just looked different.

The wolfpack...HOLD ME BACK...whew!

I would probably go back 3 or 4 more times to see it at the movies if I didn't have to take out a mortgage to do so! LOL.

I thought it was soooooo much better than the first movie and now, I CANNOT WAIT for ECLIPSE!!

June 2010!! :)

WHEEE! My mom asked me to take my baby sister tomorrow as a favor... sure, ma, I guess I'll take one for the team *kicks the dirt*

*giggle* EEEE!!

I saw it today and loved it!! Seriously, I can't wait till it comes out on DVD. I felt like a dirty old woman when Jacob takes his shirt off but WOW... He was awesome in this one.

I had way too much stuff to do this weekend, but I plan on seeing it somehow next weekend. Whether by myself, or dragging my sister to see it a second time, lol. I can't WAIT!

We got to see it at 10pm on Thursday!! :D The lines were longer and there was screaming but I almost wish there had been a midnight showing, it would have been quieter!! All those kids that had school the next day wouldn't have been there LOL!! :D And you are so right about the make up. Although, I think Edward looked a bit better cause he had less 5 o'clock shadow in this one!! :D But everyone else looked off!! :D

I have to wait until we're at my parents' this week. I really want to go Wed while the teens are still in school, but I'll probably have to wait until Fri or Sat. I just rewatched Twilight (had to bring hubby up to speed since he's coming with me this time), and it was even worse than I remembered. Even hearing the good things, my bar is set nice and low. Here's hoping I'm pleasantly surprised!
