I'm bored and haven't posted a Random Question of the Day recently, so thought I'd resurrect the tradition with this question:

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

This question was inspired by the fact that I just bought these. I am not really a shoe person, but these shoes make me abnormally, girlishly happy:

i voted 10-20. probably closer to 10 but i'm not really sure, lol. i only wear about 3 pair. i have some tan suede Rocket Dog slip ons i've been wearing lately, black one stars, a pair of adidas and i have a pair of boots but i haven't worn them yet. and then i have my summer shoes, but still only end up wearing one pair of flip flops all summer. its time to get rid of a bunch.
 
Two. A pair of Birk's and a pair of Keen's. I can't wear the Keen's anymore though--so one. Yes, it looks like I'm going to be the chick in Birk's and socks this winter. :thumbdown:
 
I voted less then 10. I have probaly about 7 or 8 and I just actually throw out about 5 to 6 pairs that I never wore and some were like 15 years old!! But of those 7 or 8 I have left I only were the boots, the sneakers, the black mules and a pair of brown suede slip on shoes during cold weather. Then I own 3 pairs of flip flops that I wear during warm months and one lone pair of black heels that I haven't worn in 5 to 6 years (or longer :blink:)

Less than 10. I have 4 pairs that I wear on a regular basis. I have tons of flip flops though...but they don't count because they're out of season :p
 
Those are super cute shoes, Dawn!!

I'm a recovering shoe-aholic... I had one whole closet full of shoes and it was so bad that on my wedding day, to relieve stress, I insisted that I got new shoes for my dress... which the lady at the dress shop threw a hissy fit that it would through off the whole dress... whatever. I'm the bride and it's my day... and the heal was the same height as the first pair... then having kiddo, my feet grew and I now only have 5 pairs I wear regularly... so now my addictive behavior has turned to collecting digi supplies instead of shoes... ha, ha...
 
I have right around 20 with a half a dozen pairs that get regular wear depending on the season. The rest are either cheapy sandels that I buy every year or dress shoes left over from my childfree days
 
I love skechers and have about 10 pairs of skecher tennis shoes. I also have several pairs of flip-flops which I wear almost year round. (even in Florida I have to wear real shoes a few days out of the year LOL)
 
I have 5 pairs of footwear, only one being shoes (and they are chunky 1.5" heels). I'm not the girly type.
 
Wow, I'm honestly really surprised that so many of you have under 10 pairs of shoes!! I don't buy that many pairs of shoes, but I guess I keep them forever because I have probably close to 20 pairs. Of course, I work in an office and have to dress up for work some days, and then be business casual some days, so those are completely different kinds of shoes from the ones I would wear at home.
 
I'm not a big shoe-girl either. I have a pair of tennis shoes, a couple pairs of flipflops, two pairs of work shoes, and a pair of casual shoes. So, thats...6. I just can't bring myself to spend much money on shoes.
 
I'd own more shoes if I could find some that would fit my feet properly. I really like shoes, I want to have more shoes, I just can't find any. I'm sure Andrew loves that, but it's quite annoying!!
 
I have my everyday tennis shoes, running shoes, Docs, dress shoes, and one pair of flip flops. Plus a pair of snow boots and a pair of hiking/hunting boots. Just what I need, no more, no less. :)
 
i'm not a big shoe girl either. i answered 10-20. i have like 4 pairs of flip flops, 2 pairs of winter boots, my mocassins, 3 ballet flats, 3 tennis shoes, my pumas, my chucks, my pointy toed flats, my black wedges and a few other pairs of random shoes that i never wear and need to get rid of. ;)

whoops. i think i have more than i thought.
 
lol!! :D i'm laughing at myself cause i dont really consider myself a shoe girl but i am proving that wrong today.

i stalk this shoppe and want every single pair of shoes these people make.
 
I own a grand total of 4 pairs (of footwear, not just shoes :D). I'm just not bothered by shoes, I just want something comfortable, lol.
 
I've got my Crocs and a pair of sneakers. A pr of houseshoes are around somewhere, and a few pr of heels that I never wear, and need to take to Goodwill. I'm so NOT a shoe person, and hate to go shoe shopping. But we all need new ones at the moment *sigh*...need something to keep the toes warm in winter slush.
 
I have 3 pair. One pair is missing a shoe so really I only have 2 and one of those pair are about 6 or 7 years old. Those kickass Mossimo sandles just won't die. I freaking love them. lol
 
I'm a shoe-aholic. I have 20-30 pair and I have to rotate them with the seasons so I have enough room in my closet for them. :blink: I think it's an inherited trait though because my mom has the same problem. :p
 
If you count all my flip flops and sandals...definitely over 30...I have 20-30 pairs of shoes but don't wear 1/2 of them anymore. I really need to get rid of some!!!
 
I know the last time I went through my closet and got rid of some I had about 50 pairs (including sandals & all my flip flops) and I'm pretty sure that was AFTER I filled two Walmart size sacks for Goodwill :blink: I'm definitely a shoe-a-holic, though some I've had for years and really should just get rid of (like the 3 pairs of Docs that I'll probably never wear again). And I don't spend much on shoes either, mostly I shop sales or find them on clearance.
 
Yeah, I'm surprised by the under 10 too! It would seem in areas that are seasonal, you'd need more than that. I have shoes in all colors and usually more than one in each color ... you name it ... yellow, pink, blue, navy blue, green, beige, multi-colored, red, black, brown, etc.... I don't throw shoes out very often either (only if they are completely worn out) ... so to answer your question, I have well over 30 ;)
 
I honestly had no idea I owned this many shoes! A quick count gave me 22 ... I think I have 4 pairs of Crocs (thanks to the post in SSD ...otherwise I would never have tried them) ... a few sandals types ... and the rest are all Birkenstocks! On my defense though... I NEVER throw away a pair of Birks...I wear them until the sole goes through to the cork ... and I don't throw them away then because they are my "painting" shoes... or to wear somewhere when it might be yucky. I only owned like 2 winter pairs of Birks (one was dressy) and like 3 pairs of flip flops...then QVC started advertising them and mom started buying me pairs...getting me totally totally hooked on them. I generally only buy the Birks if Sam's Club has them...or QVC has a new style and is on sale at the same time...

My poor boys typically own one pair of shoes and a pair of bowling shoes (and the first pairs were GIVEN to them...I finally bought one of them a new pair today) ... sometimes they might own a 2nd pair of tennis shoes...but never more than that...their feet are still growing!

dh I think owns like 6 pairs I think himself...
