So, I went away for the weekend and came home with...

I've been bugging my SO to get me an iphone for christmas, but he has completely refused saying he doesn't see the point. He commutes, and normally comes home at the weekend, but this weekend he had a couple of christmas parties, so I went to see him instead. We were walking around town on saturday, and I dragged him into every shop that sold an iphone as part of my "go on about it for so long he gets fed up and gets me one for christmas"- tactics, and in the last shop, he bought it :thumbup: I really didn't see that one coming - I thought getting it for christmas was a stretch

I think I am slightly in love with this phone, it's awesome! I can't get it to log on my work wifi though, and I can't call tech support because you are not supposed to use it for phones.. But my boss got it to work on hers, so she's helping me when she is back from travelling in a couple of weeks.

Bahahahahha I love it. I think the same sort of tactic worked to push Jordan over the edge last week for me. He said "you want it and you're gonna buy it eventually anyway, so you might as well get it while you're there so you don't have to make another trip." He's so practical

I meant to hook up the wifi at my parents this weekend but I forgot. And I get excellent 3G service here at home, so I'm not too concerned with it here. So I can't really help you with that, sorry!

Yeah, I've got good 3G coverage too, but I have a cheapo pay plan that doesn't include any internet use, so using that would get expensive pretty fast. I'm thinking about adding it to my plan though, just need to let SO calm down from spending the money on the phone before I start spending any more

my FIL is getting my MIL one for XMAS...she is gonna be TOTALLY shocked!!! I want one, but will probably wait until DD {16} graduates {2011} and then get one....but I may also treat myself and get it as a retirement gift for myself in jan 2011
