Do You Guys See A

difference in these 2 LO's as far as the shadows go?

this one I downsized to 600x600 and uploaded here...


this one was regular size {full size} that I uploaded at another site...


to me the shadows are WAYYYYYY off in the upload here and it is BUGGING me!!!!! I am using Adobe Photoshop 6.0 {cause my CS2 crashed and I am still working on getting it back on my laptop}...can somebody tell me how to save the smaller version so that it looks like the full version when I upload? there has to be a way for me to save it so it still looks like the original when I upload the smaller version! TIA for anyone that can help me!!!! hope I didn't confuse anyone!

How did you upload "full sized" though.

What do you do to save for the web though Angie. I usually use an action. I use Annie's (Paint the Moon) and then I choose the save for web feature. I did it in PSE, and I do it in CS4 now.

I know that Paislee Press has a free save for web action...you could try that out...do the action on your layered file, and then it should flatten it and make it 600x600, and then choose the save for web

Do you have any other effects on there? It looks like it's not scaling the effects along with the rest. I've never used PS6, so I have no suggestions.

if you merge the layers before you resize it down to 600 it won't do that anymore

yeah that's what i was gonna suggest... if you flattened your lo before resizing?

I did NOT flatten before I resixed!! THANKS for that gals!!!! I will remember to do that!!! it was totally thorwing me off and bugging the crap out of me...I KNEW you gals would come to my rescue!!!
