So hey fellow mac-ies! Have any of you had books printed from your photos in iphoto? If not, run don't walk to your copy of iphoto and start that bad boy up and start creating a photobook. Oh. My. GOSH. is the finished product ever gorgeous! I did a book of our best photos from Puerto Rico in October and the book arrived this week and it is absolutely stunning quality!

Best of all, it was soooo soooo EASY. You pick a book style, drag your photos into the book, iphoto arranges the photos you drag onto each page to make them fit in a classy way. You can crop, rotate, adjust color, contrast, sharpness, straighten your horizon lines, and sooo much more right on the page and add text to describe events - it is sharp looking!

While it doesn't have that scrapbook look, it's an easy, clean, classy way to get a lot of photos from the same event (think vacations, weddings, etc) in a ready to view format that can be shared with friends and family.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it and had to give it my 2 thumbs up! It is by far one of my favorite "things" in a long time.

I made an iPhoto book of our big vacation to Europe last year. I totally second that the quality is amazing. I had done a Shutterfly book at the same time and it doesn't even come close to the same league.

You know, I have never ordered a book through iPhoto but I think I might try one now! I've been using my Mac for almost 5 years now and just have never done one. . .

I made one for my In laws after our trip with them to Rome and OMG its just the BEST thing I think I have ever done for them. Everyone who stops by their home looks at it. It really did turn out beautifuly! 2 Thumbs WAY up!

My SIL makes them regularly and they are AMAZING. Based on the quality I've seen, I decided on a whim to (gasp!) forego scrapping my calendars this year and instead create calendars right out of iPhoto. I can't wait to get them!

I just got my Mac a few months ago, and was wondering about the quality of the iPhoto books. Thank you so much for posting this - I'm going to have to order a book soon! :)

I also do my calendar on iphoto and its turned out Awesome as well! I scrap the calendar pages or use one of the great cal. topper kits here and then just use the JPG and insert it as a whole picture in the iphoto cal program. They have turned out GREAT!

Oh I am going to try this!! I have sooooo many photos and this sounds like just what I need!

This sounds intriguing. I've not updated to the new IPhoto that was released with the new Macs. Will it work with what was current just before this release?
