My school needs your help getting a new playground!!

Our school needs a new playground! The main structure the students play on is over 40 years old, is rusting and no longer meets safety code. Our school border's Pringle Park and Goshen Little League fields, so it is used year round by our community. We have done various fundaising events from Market Day frozen food sales, catalog sales, Nelson's Chicken BBQ sales and Penny Olympics with the students. We started a Funfair at our school 3 years ago to encourage parental involvement in our school and provide a good time for our students. We have applied for grants to no avail. We've even sent letters to Oprah Winfrey and Ellen Degeneres! Model Elementary is a Kindergarten through 5th grade school serving over 500 students. We have the largest elementary enrollment in our district and last year had the dubious distinction of having the highest rate of childhood obesity in the county. Just about 70% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch benefits

The cost to replace this play structure and upgrade swing sets and climbing units is over $90,000. At this point we have raised and saved $20,000. At this rate of saving, the kids currently attending our school will have hopefully graduated from college! What I'm asking from all of you is a FREE way to help us out. US Cellular phone company is holding a contest to provide $100,000 to ten schools across the nation. All we need is for you to head into your local US Cellular store and ask for codes to enter in the Calling All Communities on-line contest. They may even give you more than one code to enter, but only one entry per person is allowed. Any extra codes can be passed on to willing friends and family!
Is is easy to enter your code at::
http://www.uscc.com/uscellular/SilverStream/Pages/x_page.html?p=callingallcommunities

All you need to do is enter our school's zip code which is 46526. All schools in this zip code will pop up and you can scroll down to Model Elementary to vote for us. You need to enter your name, age, address and cell number (optional). As of December 11th, the US Cellular website shows the top 100 schools with votes. We were not in it. We are hoping to make it into the top 20 by Christmas with your help! If we can at least get 'on the board', we feel we can really make a big push to be in the final 10 by the end of the contest on January 15, 2010.
