Thank God for Pioneer Woman...

So I'm hosting Christmas Day dinner for my husband's side of the family. There are 10 of us and its only the second time I've prepared a large formal meal for this many people. I'm making...

Honey-Brined Roasted Turkey (with instruction from PW since I've never brined OR roasted a turkey before)

Mashed Potatoes & Turkey Gravy (PW's recipe)

Dinner Rolls (PW's no-knead recipe)

Sweet Potato Casserole (my MIL is bringing this)

Thanksgiving Stuffing (PW recipe including her cornbread recipe)

Roasted Asparagus (PW's recipe)

Pecan Pie (PW's recipe)

Again, thank God for Pioneer Woman! haha

P.S. I am now a full-blow PW addict and I *must* get my grubby little hands on her cookbook! STAT!!

Sounds wonderful! I went to her book signing in Austin, it was awesome! I totally recommend the cook book! I got it for about $11 on Amazon.

I SOoooooo think I am getting that cookbook for Christmas b/c DH firmly told me not to buy it with some of my Christmas $$. I am thinking thats b/c he already bought it FOR me!

I LOVE her mashed potatoes and I brine my turkey every time now because of her. And the pureed butternut squash... OMG.

That cornbread dressing wasn't my favorite, though.

I'm planning on using her a fair bit too! Maybe I can impress my parents with my cooking while they are here.. doubtful but I must try! haha :)

I guess I need to check out her book LOL...now that she's back from her book tour they've announced she'll be doing ANOTHER signing here in OKC and in Tulsa this week. Maybe I'll brave going to the bookstore to get a copy :)

I love Pioneer Woman! My mom got me her cookbook when it came out and it's so good! Definitely worth checking out for fans of her site!

We just did her bacon wrapped pineapple... SO GOOD!
