Who has some good ones?

I'd really like to do more with my shadow work and learn some new tricks.
I know that Megan Turnidge (http://www.designsbymeganturnidge.com/blog/?p=349) has a great one on her blog.

Anyone else??

Do you ever adjust them? If so, what kind of tricks do you use?

There's a really awesome tutorial on Something Blue Studio's blog:

It's how to get realistic cast shadows. I use this method all the time.

I use Misty's method for all my shadowing.

What about specific shadows for glitter splats, paint splats, wood items and things like that? I'm just using a general shadow and adjusting if needed but was wondering if there are any specific actions for these?

Personally, I use a really small shadow on something like a glitter or paint splat, because IRL it's going to lay close to the page unless it's a big clump o' glitter or something.

ETA: I love Megan's tip for adding a small shadow to the opposite edge of your element. It really gives it more real life definition.

I use a mix of Kristen Rice's and Megan's shadow styles. :)
