so do you recommend the downloadable book or buying the harbound book? and if you bought the downloadable book can you show me what you did with it or give me some ideas? another questin is, if you buy the downloadale book, can you use it again {reprint} for 2011, 2012, etc? thanks in advance:)

I ordered mine last week and it should arrive soon. I don't have a good printer, and I know that I would not follow through on printing it if I got the downloaded one.

I am excited to get mine and start using it next week :)

I got the bound version for the same reasons as Claudia. It is huge! I'd never print it all myself because it's dual sided (or double the paper which I just can't bring myself to do)

ok gals...I am printing mine now, but only gonna print the 1st 50 pages and see what I think...then I am gonna decorate the cover and I'll come back and share...defientely gonna be a Hybrid cover :p

I got the d/l version. but maybe I should have gotten the bound b/c I haven't printed it yet. But I figure I'm not going to start until the 1st ....

I don't think the d/l is meant to be re-used because the days would be off. I suppose if you wanted to ignore the days then you could. I would be too confused though.

Hi there...

Great questions ... I thought I'd share a little info to help you along. Just in case you don't know me, I'm the owner of Log Your Memory & the author/creator of the Memory Logbook...

Your decision between print & download depends on lot on what you have available for printers or copy shops and whether you want to be able to customize the book. Personally, I prefer the download because I like adding the pocket pages and being able to add & remove extra pages, re-print pages, etc. I simply printed it on my inkjet printer at home - double-sided - on the "economy" setting. It used less than half a cartridge of ink and took just a couple of hours with close monitoring. The download comes with suggestions for getting started.

If you're interested in customization ideas for the downloadable version, you might want to check out this blog post.

As far as reprinting for next year, you could, but the dates will all be wrong and you would be missing out on any changes/updates to the weekly challenges. Each year's edition will have all new sample layouts & updates to the monthly suggested photo lists, prompt revisions, etc. plus whatever new improvements are made between then and now. The ideas are coming all the time, so you never know what changes we'll be making...

Hope that helps! Feel free to contact me at any time for more information, suggestions, etc... :)

I got the downloadable version so that I have the option of making a smaller version so that I could throw it in my purse when needed. I decided to get a smaller threeing binder (5 1/2 x 8 1/2) and printing each page on half a sheet (double sided) and I love it. I'm only gonna put a few months at a time in the binder. Right now I have December 2009 and Jan-Apr 2010 and its perfect.

The downloadable version is also a good idea for me b/c I tend to be clumsy sometimes:o so if I spill something on a page or it tears I have the option to just reprint it.

Great idea! I downloaded it and need to get it printed for Friday :)
