Yes, this request is really early but my last-minute scramble to finish the 2010 calendars got me thinking. I made calendars for my in-laws with customized monthly grids that identified holidays and family birthdays. For Labor Day and the Fourth of July, I used some elements from SSD kits. To show birthdays, I used a cake element, a ship for Columbus Day, etc.
I had to improvise for other holidays by using color-coded transparent brads and the text showing the day. I couldn't always find the right icon that would indicate the holidays (bell or horn for New Year's, soldier for Veteran's Day, etc). Any chance one of the talented SSD designers could make an element set that could be used for the grids? That would save me lots of time.
