DS games for almost 5 year old

My daughter's leapster seems to be broken- it randomly turns itself off quite frequently. We are thinking instead of replacing it with another leapster we will upgrade her to the DS. I searched threads here and found some game suggestions, but would love more. She will be 5 in May and is quite girly

My 41/2 year old daughter loves her 2 Dora games, Dora Saves the Snow Princess & Dora Saves the Mermaids.

My daughter just got a ds, for her 5th bday in Dec. She loves Hello Kitty Party, Barbie and the 3 musketerrs and cooking mama.

She also has smart girls play house and that one is a good one.

Her favorite game is the littlest pet shop, i would highly reccomend that game. I even think it is fun.

My 5 year old plays most with her Dora game and Build a Bear Workshop

My 3.5 year old plays with my son's DS and she actually LOVES Mario Kart. It has a Princess character and she loves the driving aspect of it.

My 5 year old DD absolutely loves a game called "Lovely Lisa". You design clothes, paint her nails, sew, babysit, etc. She totally loves it.

Some of the games require reading, which irritates me because they easily could have given picture instructions instead. But she plays lots of them by herself all the time.

There's even a beauty pageant you can enter and help her "dance"...

she also loves her Dora games, also Pinkie Pie's Party (My Little Pony). And the Smart Girls games. good luck!

Nintendogs...also adorable and you can talk to the doggy, feed, train, play and dress it. My daughter and neice both loved it

Thanks for these suggestions- we are taking two huge trips during the first part of this year, so we will need some entertainment!
