How do you do this? LOL (funny thing my husband did)

My husband is trying to dry some clothes that he had on the clothesline all day by ironing them. I do this sometimes when it is rainy/cool if I need it that same day otherwise Id just leave them out. Well anyhow he is ironing and he says Owww...gawd dang it (not so nicely of course). I asked him what happened and he said "I grabbed the iron by the wrong side" LOL. Now I have been ironing for many years...even worked in a laundry room at the group home I lived in as a kid and have NEVER grabbed the iron by the wrong side. I couldnt help but laugh at that one

That is a special skill. I have never done that myself either.

Yikes! I always knock the iron off the ironing board onto the carpet!

LOL, that'll never happen in our house (and that's because nobody here irons). Seriously, Rachel has a toy iron...she's had it for nearly 2 years...she walked up to me and asked me what it was. She literally had no clue because if it's something that needs to be ironed, I won't buy it.
*We DO have an iron though...never used it...but we keep it in the guest room in the event we have company that needs something pressed.

ROFLOL... I can't imagine grabbing the iron by the wrong side! I used to iron daily when DH was still in retail management... oh how I hated it, but it saved on dry cleaning bills! These days I almost never iron, it's just such a hassel!
