I need someone with a YAHOO email addy..

lauren grier

you're like stars
to play email tag with me. I'm having issues getting emails to my aunt (hers come through to me fine) and I don't know why.. It SEEMS to be only when i reply to her emails (not when i send a new one myself- but this may just be a coincidence that the one random email that's gone through the past week was one i directly sent).
she uses yahoo.. this is my site email addy that I use for everything.

it's weird bc I've never heard a problem with yahoo...it's usually yahoo having problems with other email clients. Like, if a friend has sbcglobal...I usually can't send them emails

well I know yahoo sometimes blocks SSD's newsletters.. I think this is the same type of dealio....... ooh.. do you subscribe to my newsletter???? Did you get one on monday?? (this is coming from my scrapfastic.com email addy.)

I have had similar problems corresponding with peeps who have yahoo email. I actually have a yahoo account, but only use it for my online purchases.... and not for personal email. My SSD newsletter actually comes into my Yahoo email addy before it comes into my other acct.

I had this issue too last week too. I could get the emails but when I replied they bounced back. I was using Windows Live to send out emails. I had everyone ck to make sure that I was not on their spam list and nothing. I finally sent my emails through the web instead of Windows Live and that resolved it. Not sure what you are using but just thought I would just at least let you know it's not just you.....

I'm using outlook .. lmao I don't know what windows live is?? haha.. is that like outlook? lemme try to send it through the webmail laura and see if it goes through..

lol well.. as long as it's not just me I suppose it's not the end of the world. Maybe you all should just stop using yahoo for email ^_^

You might ask her to check her 'Mail Options'. What happens every once in awhile for me is that people end up in my 'blocked list' even though I don't put them there. I merrily go along sending them messages and thinking that they are not replying.. only to find that their addressses in my blocked list.

That may account for why she can send you a message, but your replies never get to her.

I have a girlfriend who still uses AOL. I make fun of her every chance I get :p

Making the email switch is really not that big a deal. I just did it in the fall after the wedding and my name change. Super simple, and I've only missed 2 emails from friends.

I live for gmail. I don't know why anyone uses anything else, lol!
