What's that quote about not being sad that something's/someone's gone, but grateful for the time you had? Or something to that effect? I can't remember it or find it, and I need it! :)


eta** Okay, got a couple of quotes to choose from. Which do you think is better for this page?

I'm going to be absolutely no help here... I agree with Col, I love that quote with the playful pics, but also, I think the second quote fits perfectly too...

told ya. lol, I'm no help.
 
For some reason, the first quote "weighs heavier" than the second, and it seems like it's trivialized somehow using it in that context. I mean, people use that quote for broken relationships and death and stuff...a page about finishing off the cake just seems dilute the power of the quote. Does that make sense?

I LOVE the second quote though.

Also: It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to. (thought that has nothing to do with the "it's over" theme you referred to)
 
i like number 2, too - for the reason krystal mentioned ... and i like her 'it's my party' quote too if you want another option :)
