Is your blog getting spammed?

I woke up this morning and see that my blog (mamabeescrapping.com) is getting spammed in the comment section...:mad: anyone else having that problem? Is there away to stop that? I haven't shared it anywhere but here... and it has only been active a month and I haven't posted since the 2nd :o
 
I don't but I have it set so that you have to type in the word verification. I think that is supposed to help with the spam.
 
I use the word verification to avoid spam. Also, never type out a full email address. Use AT and or DOT COM to avoid phishing and spammers.
 
I've gotten one or two at random in the past month, but nothing too bad. I don't use word verification but i have to approve anonymous comments
 
I used to get spam when I had a blog on my own site. DH tweeked it a bit. I'll ask him how he fixed it. I haven't had any at blogspot...yet
 
I use Typepad and they have a really good spam filter so I never get any spam that goes through to my blog.
 
I was getting it BAD but i had to activate my Akismet and it's cut them ALL out from my blog..I had 243 in the spam filter though lol...
