:w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t

that is all. :D

yep yep..I didn't care who went between the Jets and Colts...

Watching me some Favre now woot! I'm rooting for a Minnesota Superbowl win this year

I 2nd the COLTS!!!!!!!!!!! DH doesn't watch becuase he thinks he is a GINX!!!! but I watch and was glad I did today!!!!!!!!! I like Favre, but I do hope the Saints win :)

So MN lost? Oh, great, gonna be lots of dissappointed fans at work tomorrow. My office was so full of purple jerseys on Friday it was freakin me out.

I've got a pouting dh on my hands. But I was cheering for the Saints (as a Packer fan I'm not much of a Brett fan anymore) Go Saints :)

I actually don't mind that NO won...I just wanted it for Favre. I was impartial since my team didn't even make playoffs haha. NO had too good of a season to not be rooting for them now! lol

Such a toss up for the Superbowl now. Who do I root for? The team with hot QB (NO - Brees is a good looking man when he gets cleaned up), or the team with the funniest QB ever (I LIVE for Peyton commercials - I mean, who doesn't love a QB with laser rocket arms :p)???

I don't care who wins this year..both have cute QBs haha...both had fab seasons...I think it'll be a FAB game

I am so depressed! My Vikings lost a heartbreaker last night. I've been a die hard fan for all my life (all 31 years of it!) and this loss was gut wrenching. We made too many mistakes (very uncharacteristic of us this season) - and the refs had some botched calls in OT. :( We should have won that game, and that is what is so hard about the loss ... and the fact that Favre probably won't come back. WAAAAHHHH!

How fun would it have been to watch Manning and Favre play against each other?! I'm so bummed!

I've always liked the Colts ... so GO COLTS!!!

Favre has been SO stinkin wishy-washy, I doubt he'll ACTUALLY retire now. He "retired" after the gut-wrenching loss to the Giants in the last championship game he was in, and then he came back. Twice. He can't go out on a loss like that. Or I guess, he WON'T go out on a loss like that.

I agree - this is as bad as the loss in '99 against the Falcons. We should have won that game too.

The poor guy has suffered some bad shoulder injuries and didn't even think he could play anymore. Therefore the reason he keeps trying to retire. Brett's a guy that doesn't want to let an injury get him down, but the body isn't as young as it once was. That's not wishy washy to me. He had the surgery after last season and rehabbed like crazy to see if he could still have the arm to play. Luckily the surgery was mostly successful because this was a great year for the Vikings. I'd LOVE to see him stay in another year, but I'm sure this will be another summer of waiting to see if he stays in the game or not. I won't hold my breath for a 'for sure' answer until a week after training camp starts though. LOL

man they were beating him up last night too

their mistake (besides the umteen fumbles) was that last play..they shoulda let the dude just try and make the kick..instead they had too many men in a huddle..got the penalty..then tried to run/throw the ball. They had a chance to win by 3 on the last play but screwed it up...toooo many mistakes last night

I dont' know that he'll retire on that note..but do you think he can come back again and have a fab year like he did this year? I'm torn on that

I know it! I was at that game, and thought Anderson had made the field goal, so all of us were jumping around screaming ... only to find out that he missed, and then we ended up losing by three. I'm still not over that loss, so I have a feeling that it will be a long long time before I'm over this one!

I have a hard time arguing that any team that has five turnovers deserves to go to the Superbowl. You just can't make that many mistakes and expect to win. If anything they're lucky the game was as close as it was.

I don't know if he can, but I'd be willing to bet that as long as he's feeling good, he'll be back. I think mentally it would be hard not to want to come back after such a heartbreaking loss. It would just depend whether he physically thinks he can keep up for another season. If he does come back though, I think he should just announce prior to the season that it will be his last, that way there isn't any pressure to make a decision based on how the season plays out. Good or bad, he'd be done.

I'm not a Colts or Saints fan but I love Peyton Manning so I'll be cheering for the Colts. :D
