Are you counting your layouts in 2010?

I used to count my layouts ... and think I will get back in the habit again ... I actually thought I had done more than this ... but when mil passed away on January 4th...I lost my mojo for about a week...so I guess I'm not doing too bad...

I made the badge hybrid book ... and 18 layouts ...

I keep track really easily by taking the "web" saved jpg and placing it into it's OWN folder ... then all you have to do is open the folder and it tells you how many items are in the folder ... which is the number of layouts you have done! Easy peasy!

How are you all doing?! I'm inspired ... think I will go get another layout started!!

I'm really liking this new portfolio challenge ... and hoping that when I start my robotic layouts again this week that I will be able to find challenges that will work for it ... I probably have 20 layouts to do to catch up!!

I've never kept track. All of my layouts go into either 'printed', 'to be printed', or 'not printing' folders...no idea when each one was done.

I dont keep track of how many. I just do one whenever I feel like scrapping and it goes into the approriate folder. I would guess though I do a layout about every other day. So probably between 15 and 20 a month I guess. Sometimes fewer sometimes more

I did that in 2008. Now I rarely scrap pages anymore, since hybrid project assignments take most of my time. Although I have gotten into doing hybrid LO's now.

Either way, I don't really care how many LO's I do.

I have a folder where I keep my web sized LO's and I name them something like this

20_DesignerName_Kit Name

I started doing that to help me keep track of the CT kits I was using.. but then I just did it for all. Right now I'm at 25 layouts done so far which is a GREAT january!!!

My actual layouts I save with the date YYMMDD and a brief description, so I don't number those as they are in different folders depending on what layout it is.

Great job!!! 25 layouts is fantastic!

I always keep track by default. I'm a data geek. :) I have a notebook that I record layout name, kit & designer, any extras & what challenge it was for, mostly so I can keep track of credits.

I had completed 18 by Jan 16th when my mojo decided it was too cold around here and headed for warmer weather. :( Its supposed to be nice this week so I'm hoping it comes back

* Note: I like the people here (especially Sharon Kay) so my response is in no way a negative on counting number of layouts. Long explanation as to why I wouldn't even be able to give you a number to follow:

Years ago, Stacy Julian's Big Picture Scrapbooking really helped me. I was feeling behind and stressed and knew that I would never catch up. [Note: this was back in my paper scrapbooking days. When I was a kid, my mother "kept" all of the photos. I guess in a way to make up for my own loss, I wanted to make sure that I made each kid their own book that they could have and enjoy. This meant that I was making the same page by hand for each child, myself and for grandma (my mom). You can see why I jumped on the digital scrapbooking bandwagon and never looked back!]

That being said I have subject/topic goals for this year. For instance, I definitely want to finish up my December Daily album from last year, my Encyclopedia of Me album [I only have words picked -- no definitions or pictures], My Childhood Memories album where I'm going back and writing about the toys I wished for but never got, the toys I had, how McDonald's didn't have Happy Meals when I was a kid, etc. [I thought this might be a fun album for the kids because I can remember asking my grandma to tell me stories about my mom when she was a kid], a 365 album [I'm still going which is an improvement over last year. Woo Hoo!], and a Book of Me album. I will probably add more ideas as the year goes on. Truth is, these are my scrapbooking goals for the year and I'm not really sure how many pages are involved.

nope...don't count :) don't care too :) I just scrap and save :) and print :)

Take out the print and that's me.

When the "how many layouts did you do?" threads come about, I go into the gallery, sort by 'last 6 months/year/whatever timeframe' and use that number.

I keep my web size jpegs in a folder named 2010 (I make a new folder every year) so although I don't necassaritly keep count I can easily know how many I have done!!!

I'm at 25 right now, but that includes a birthday invite and thank you card for my DS birthday coming up this Sunday!!!

I haven't counted up to now....but I started for this year. I'm so behind on what I want to scrap. I only started scrapping just before my 2nd child was born, so I'm trying to backdate 1st year books. I figure counting my layouts will help me stay on track with my goal for the year. I'm at 28 so far :D

I'm a numbers person, so I always start the year wanting to know. Maybe I'll make it all the way through this year! :-)

I'm curious.. do you print any of your layouts Leila?

 Awwww thank you! I like everybody here too ... which is why I am here every day.

I was a paper scrapper too ... and I made albums for each of my 3 boys ... just the way you did...and digi sure saves us oodles of time (and money!) ... I have a bunch of albums in the works too ... and hoping the challenges will mesh up with a bunch of them so I can get them caught up!

You're doing great!!! I started when my oldest son (now 21) was 4 years old... but then having 2 toddlers a few years later put "paper scrapping" on the back burner ... so I am VERY behind. Now in order to go back and scrap pictures prior to 2001 ... I have to scan negatives ...ughhh I hate that. blech

Rarely. I'll print if someone asks for a copy of a page or if I'm making a page for someone else. I just don't have the physical storage space for a bunch of albums in my house. I'm sure that I will one day in the future, but now is not the time.

This is what I do too. I don't usually pay attention to the numbers but I think this year I might set some number related goals (as well as some project ones). We'll see. :)

I've done 27 this year. I have a new folder I keep my los in since I started scrapping again, so it's easy to see how many I've done. I'll probably keep check now and then just out of curiosity to see how many I've done, but I'm not really keeping track, since I don't have a goal for the year or anything.

I save all my layouts in a 2010 folder with subfolders for my layouts to be printed and my layouts for the web so I just open the folder and bam...My goal this year is 1 layout per day...

I'm keeping count this year because I have a goal number to reach. I've got 12 done so far, which is about on track. I'm wanting 1/2 the amount of days in each month done.
