NSBR - cleaning baby things

Since I know there are lots of moms here I have a question. I'm cleaning things - getting ready for baby #3 to arrive any day. I have some things that are soft fabric but can't be put in the wash - how do I clean them?

ah dont u hate those toys? lol. Ive always just used hot water and some dish washing liquid and sponge washed them, then sponged again with clean non soapy water. Im sure theres probably better ways, but thats always been good enough for me. Good luck!
