So, I wanted to put the thumbnail images in my portfolio thread so that I'm not contributing as much to the image overload. But, I couldn't figure out how to do it. How do you copy a smaller image into your post? I'm usually good at figuring out how to do that. Maybe it's a Mac thing and my options are different. Help me out ladies!

I think that when you do the [img] code in that string there should be the word orginals, replace that with thumbs.

Pull up your gallery. Right click on the thumbnail image and select properties. Copy the whole of the address url then come back into your portfolio post and click the insert a picture box up there that looks like a mountain and paste the address into there.

http://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/data/587/thumbs/card1.jpg (http://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=120492&ppuser=4492)

I don't have a Mac though so I'm not sure if it's different

You can hyperlink it too in the regular way

Thanks for this tip. It didn't work exactly like that, but it was close. :)

For any other Mac users who were wondering about this, here's what I did:
Right click (ctrl-click) on the thumbnail image in your gallery and choose Inspect Element. Then, copy the link from that into your post (adding the [img] codes). Make sense?

My full-size image used this URL (minus the spaces):
http ://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/data/511/name of image.jpg

And the thumbnail image used this URL:
http ://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/data/511/thumbs/name of image.jpg

So, it's just a matter of adding "thumbs" in the right spot. :)

Thanks for the help girls!

I'm glad you figured it out! I have a PC so i didn't know what differences there would be.

Andrea, if you right click on the thumbnail and select "copy image location", it does the same thing, instead of opening the properties. 1 less step :)
