Just Don't Do it!!!!

Get your hair cut at the BX/PX. Seriously I'm friggin' 33 years old, you'd think I would have learned by now. For non-military...at Walmart. Both places I've done out of desperation and just cannot wait to see my regular person. Then I get a haircut hack-job and then I just want to cry! Why do I do this?!!!! Wah! Now I'm sitting here at home trying to fix it myself, and I think I'm gonna make it worse. And then now I have to make an appointment with my regular stylist and she'll see it and I'm gonna be all embarrased and she'll have to cut off even more to make it somewhat better. Sigh. Why do I do this?

lmao...one of our new girls at work made that mistake in between basic training and tech school, she ended up with almost a buzz cut. Seriously, after her 10 week tech school was over and she came back to base, her hair was only a few inches long.

I got really lucky. Since we got stationed over here in Korea I can't go to my normal girl back home. I use to get my haircut once a year when we would go back home for the holidays. Well hubby reminded me that's not happening. I was growing a rats tail! It was horrible. I was just gonna do it myself, but he drug me in there. They didn't speak english but still managed to do just a trim. I don't trust them to do more than that. I hope your normal stylist can fix it

I hope you can get it fixed without too much cutting.
Bad haircuts can be so traumatic and make you very self concious (or at least it does me).

hate to say it, but the salons on base have no idea what they're doing. I told one girl exactly how I wanted it done and she still freaking messed it up! i had to scramble to find someone else. luckily I did! Hope yu get it fixed soon1

This post totally reminded me of the Office supply store - where he makes the banner - we fix 6$ haircuts ..... I know I have so made that exact same mistake too in times of desperation - and they were the only salon to take the star card ... Never again - and BTW they SUCK at updo's too. Hang in there.....

Thanks guys! Yeah...I have to wait until next week to get into my normal girl (which is why I made the mistake in the first place). I just know better. Moment of complete lunacy! Really do they even have any training there (my DH said he could do better and I believe him)? Oh well its just hair right?
