I have never been able to figure this out...If I want to group several layers and then resize them without having to merge them...is this possible? I get them all grouped and it will let me move them as a group but if I try to resize it always tells me they have to be merged. :cursing:

I haven't used PSP in a while (years), but I think you can link layers together in the palette just like it's done in PS and that should allow you to be able to resize them together. Again, it's been years since I worked in PSP, so I'm probably wrong.

It has never let me do anything but link the layers when I use psp.
I just don't think that function is available in psp unless it's in the newest version they just released.

Which version do you have? I have PSPX2 and if I put several layers into a new layer group (layers - new layer group), select that group ,select resize, uncheck resize all layers and then choose what percent I want to resize it to it will resize all the layers in that group without merging them together.

This isn't using the link layers function but the layer group option to connect the layers

Oh, wahoo! I always do what Nikki does. So glad to know I can do this!

Woot! Woot! It worked! Thanks so much, girls, always new things to learn and then you wonder how you never learned that before. This will come in very handy in the future.
