This is driving me crazy! lol, I use cs2... I was finishing up a lo, and I went to hit ctrl + so I could zoon in a bit on my text. I didnt' have my keyboard pulled out from under my desk, just put my hands under, and thought I was hitting the right keys without looking... Apparently not. I don't know what I hit with the ctrl button, but it put this annoying grid up on my lo. It's not there when I save the jpg, but I saved the psd, and it's still there. It's also there whenever I open a new file too. Does anybody have any clue how to get it off? Here's a screen shot of what it looks like. I didn't wanna just keep hitting buttons in case I did something else I couldn't undo. Nothing popped up in my history box that I could undo either.

It might also just be the "Grids" that are on, you can turn those off under view too!! If they are "ON" there will be a "check mark" next to the name!!!

LOL, It was under view > extras... the shortcut for it is cntrl h. I was just a little off on my keys there, huh? Thanks, I had no clue where to even look for that!! Learn something new every day :D
