We're leaving for Florida next Friday and I'll have 2 new lenses to play with!!

We got our taxes back today and I ordered a Canon 24-70mm 2.8L and I also sold my 30mm 1.4 and ordered an 85mm 1.8!

Beyond excited! I hope the snow goes away soon so my portfolio building can begin and I hope its nice in Florida so I can practice on my family and friends! :wub:
 
Aw, I'm excited for you! Have fun in Florida -- it's beautiful here right now. I live just outside of Orlando and this morning it was 38 degrees on my way to work and by the time noon rolled around, it was gorgeous and sunny but still cool out. I haven't seen such beautiful days in Florida in a long time. :thumbup:
 
enjpy!! I hope to get a new lens next year with taxes...gonna buy a house this year :) have fun in Florida!
 
I'm so jealous! :) That 85mm will be my next purchase. Have fun on your trip and playing around with your new goodies!
 
You are going to LOVE the 24-80mm!! I have a Nikon one similar and WOW it is so much fun and you aren't limited too much with kids and can zoom! Have a blast! We are headed off to Colorado for spring break and I will have my new 70-200mm 2.8 Nikon lens to play with! Tee hee! So exciting!
 
Yeah Vanessa!! I'm so excited for you!! I would love to have that 24-70 lens. I also started lusting after a good macro lens after seeing some of the posts on CM.

I might check one out at school. They have a couple 100mm macros they loan out.
