NSBR: Movie goers, this is for you

So today is our 5th anniversary and we actually have a babysitter :thumbup: We don't have a big night planned just dinner and a movie, but I have two questions for you. . . 1. What is a good movie that is out now? 2. What is your favorite movie theater snack?
 
LOL I haven't seen a movie in the theater since Transformers (lol I think that was about 2.5 years ago) so I am no help with the movie selection but my favorite movie snack is definitely Twizzlers.

If it was me I'd pick either Avatar or Alice in Wonderland (I've already seen Avatar and am on the edge of my seat waiting for my hubby to have some time off work so we can go see Alice)!

I have no opinion on the movie, because I haven't been to one in forever.

My favorite snack is peanut M&Ms and Diet Coke.
 
Well...we don't get to go to the theater much either but we did see Avatar and you can't go wrong...excellent movie.

My favorite snack is to get popcorn and M&M's and then pour the M&M's into the popcorn. :) Yum...with a big dt. coke.
 
i dunno what kind of movies you like, but we saw shutter island last weekend. we both thought it was really, really good.

as far as snacks, we got a large popcorn (extra butter) and a large pepsi. such a bargain at $11.25 :rolleyes: so i didn't feel bad about smuggling in my own sour patch kids. :p
 
I'm with Linz- I really likes Shutter Island. Going to see Brooklyn's Finest in a bit (kid-free weekend-woo hoo!)

As for candy, you gotta go with Milk Duds... if you're going to rot your teeth, do it right!
 
We're making plans to see Shutter Island and The Blind Side while Grandma is in town to babysit this week! Extra buttery popcorn and a Coke for snacks- hands down our favorite. :)

DH and I just saw Avatar in 3D on Thursday - but Alice in Wonderland is also 3D and would be cool to see on the big screen.

For snacks I like candy like Sour Patch Kids, Starburst, Skittles, etc. Only 1 thing though, and I always buy it at the Dollar Store and sneak it in, lol!
