Chicago Meet Up

I'm not sure if Jamie has picked a date yet that she's going to be there, but I was wondering who still wanted to do it, maybe we can set up a special email or something to keep track.

In July sometime is all I know at this point. I know Kellie wants to be there and she gets to the states in July.
 
Chicago is only 3 to 4 hours away from me, and i have a friend who lives on the other side of Chicago in Wisconsin, Burlington? or some town that starts with a B. i could hit two birds with one stone and see everyone, lol.
 
I'm up for it depending on when it is... we'll be in MI the first weekend and WI the last two weekends, so I guess that's only one weekend I'm around, lol.
 
I'm not far and I would meet up if I could, but with the baby on the way and the vacation to colorado... and dr appts. and 3 baby showers.. and so on lol :blink: I just cant get away right now.
 
Do you want us to PM you our email addresses, Vanessa, or maybe you could start a Yahoo!/Google group and invite us to join it?
 
I'll get something together this weekend, who actually lives there or close? I've never been, so we'll need ideas of where to meet. More than likely it'll just be DH and I. I doubt I'll bring the kids unless everyone else is.
 
I could possibly go. Depends on money, I am a ways a way (10 hours), but the train goes directly from here to there. Its been on my must see list for forever. I have been there, but only to drive through or to change planes.
 
I'd have my boys and Andrew along. I can always shoo them away depending on where we were to meet, but they're a package deal since I don't drive.
 
Meems is very close. Emmy is not particularly close, but had some suggestions as to where to meet and go.
 
So any more details on this? Even though I haven't been active much here, I still would love to meet up with you guys.

And yes I am close to Chicago. But I never go anywhere so I'm not really that knowledgeable about stuff. Unless you want to know about Costco?
 
Nothing yet, I don't know if Jamie has picked a day yet. We should try and get it figured out soon.
 
Just bumping up again... hubby asked about this because he has to put in vacation days for summer, if we do a long weekend around this time...

I am STILL waiting on Tony's vacation, he will know sometime next week. It's approved here, but not at the "higher up" level. Will keep you posted!

ETA you guys can go ahead and plan a time, don't wait for me! I'll try to work around whatever you plan, but we'll be there at the beginning of July-ish, we hope.
 
I'd still like to do it, but with everything going on with Keira I don't know if we can. If someone else wants to head up the planning and just keep me in the loop, I'd appreciate it. I'd love to come, but we'll have to see how Keira is doing. July will put her with about 6 weeks left of chemo.
 
I would love to come!!! I live in the NW suburbs....but a straight shot in to the city if you are talking downtown!!
 
I'm just wondering if this is still in the works... can you tell I'm anxious to meet you ladies?? ;)
