Arrrghh! I guess it all started about 4 weeks ago but I didn't realize what was wrong until like... ummm 5 days ago. Now I feel stupid and I won't let this happen again!
Ask Tab, it all started with the eating. Like I was just HUNGRY all the time. She and I go out to dinner every Monday and I started ordering like a ton of food because I was just starving and I could eat it all!
Then the crying started. My mood was CRAP, up and down all the time.
Then the sore boobs started. And I STILL didn't realize what was going on...until I started having hot flashes and night sweats.
Apparently I wasn't on the right dose of hormone replacement therapy. DUH.
Of course I didn't realize any of this until I had gained TEN pounds. : sigh :
The dose they started me on post-op is the "standard" dose the doctor said. It worked for the first six weeks, roughly, because my body was also running on residual hormones that lie in the tissue surrounding where they removed my ovaries. When that ran out, my hormones started tanking and I didn't catch it before I PMSed for a whole damned month first.
For those of you who still PMS every month, just be glad that it only lasts a few days!
They increased my dose of hormones by 50% so hopefully I'll be feeling better in a few days!
