Alpha by Zoe Pearn.
Again, I've been stalking galleries (and commenting) and this one keeps popping up in my favourites! I must get my hands on it, but from my searching I think it's retired. What do I do? Can I contact Zoe? How do I do that? HELPPPP!

I'm not sure about that specific alpha, but if it's retired, I'd just contact Zoe and ask ever so sweetly if she'd do a personal sale for you. LOL I'm sure she can hook you up!

Phew! I didn't want to go asking designers for personal sales without someone saying it was ok. Thank you Libby!

That is one of my favorite alphas......she shoudn't have retired it!! :) There's 2 versions of it as well....pencil crayon and felt tip.....they are both awesome!

The only time I've seen that alpha was in Lena's siggie...I didn't know who made it or if it was from here! Yeah, retired too soon I think :(

I have honestly never thought that was kosher - how do designers really feel about that? And what makes a designer retire a kit?

I LOVE the Color-Your-Own alpha. It was in the store for a long, long time (well over a year - maybe even 2). I think it retired in the last Going Going Gone sale. But I think it could have been one of those alphas that lived here forever, lol! I miss seeing it in the store, even though I own it, lol!

Looks like I missed that one also! DANG - Maybe if we all chant..."Bring it back, Bring it back, Bring it back!" :-)

Well I can't speak for everyone, but I've received requests for retired product before. It doesn't bother me at all. Sometimes it's on another hard drive, and it might take me a day or two to get to it. But if the customer is ok waiting for me to look for it, then I don't mind doing a personal sale.

As for what makes us retire products... I think we all have different reasons. For me personally, I usually retire something if I don't think it represents my style anymore or if it seems dated. Or sometimes if it's a kit or something that I just don't like (yep, I've had a few of those! LOL!) I'll stick it in there just so I don't have to look at it anymore. hehehe

Okay, I have waited a week and I really can't wait any longer...
Can someone from Zoe's creative team contact her with my (our) request to purchase the alpha? I emailed her with the details on her website and PM her here at SSD to no reply. I'd really just like to know either way, the suspense is killing me. :)

Sorry Ebony - I've been under the weather all week and haven't really been on the computer much ;) If you can give me a couple of hours to finish cooking dinner - LOL - I'll fix it up for you ;)

If anyone else wants the alpha, you can PM me, and I'll set up a private sale too :)
