Ok, so you all read my crazy thread from Tuesday. Yesterday wasn't all that hot of a day either, but I had come to terms with just flat out not being able to accomplish everything at work, so it was a little better.

I bought my sneakers.
My class got let out early last night.
And I found out a few minutes ago that I don't have to do a whole mess of work for one of my submissions!! I was freaking out worrying about having to build 6 sheets from scratch, and now I don't have to! WIN!!

I literally did a little jig in front of my boss when we realized we didn't need the sheets, lol. He said "Yes, I think your stress level just dropped a little". UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY! Lol!!

I said "this too shall pass" and it has. Now I can relax tonight instead of working overtime, and do a few minor things for my girlfriends bridal shower.

Thanks so much for letting me vent you guys, it helped me SO MUCH just to get it all out there. :) I  SSD, I'm so glad this is my home :)

ETA: And Jordan and I had a calm conversation about what the heck the sneaker saga was about, and I feel much better about the whole situation. Now we both know what the other was thinking/wanting, and can avoid such drama in the future.

So glad that everything has gone better than you feared, and you are able to relax a little.

It even looks like you and Jordan "grew" in your relationship (all of us married people have to go through that "growth" - sometimes I feel like it never ends, and I've been married nearly 9 years)

After we get into an argument I always try and sit down together and figure out WHY it turned into a fight. Neither one of us is a stellar communicator, but we're working on it. :)

woot! Hope they're perfect. :)

(FYI, not really much break-in period with running shoes. I usually just take my new ones out on a short run before wearing them for double digits... otherwise, they're good right out of the box!)

Yea, I wore them on my run this afternoon and they were great :) I'm pretty happy with my purchase, hopefully they'll be good for the long haul. I can just IMAGINE the argument that will ensue if they don't work out, LOL!
