i just went on amazon to buy a book (LOL - thanks lynnette, haha - it's getting things done) and saw that they have a new (to me) kindle for mac download (free) so you can read books from your computer .... :thumbup:
not sure how often i'll use it since i normally read from my iphone, LOL - but it's cool to have i'm really thinking i DON'T need an I-pad now though ...
That's cool about the kindle app. I use the one on my iPhone way more than my actual Kindle but I don't know that I'd use it on my computer. For some reason I have a really hard time focusing on large blocks of text on my computer screen. Plus I'm probably not disciplined enough to turn off the internet so I'd probably get really distracted.
I have to agree with Lynnette, I don't think I could focus on the computer text enough to understand what I'm reading, LOL. I love my kindle because I can walk away from the computer for a bit and read. My computer and I need some 'away' time sometimes, or else we start to argue.
i'm really thinking i DON'T need an I-pad now though ...
