I went to check my balance before shopping, lol, because I can't go over what I have, kwim?
It's asking me to put in all my info BEFORE logging in - in order to prevent fraud. But they are asking for my card number and such. I am not even logged in, so I don't want to do it, kwim? Because I've never seen this screen before.
Anyone else seen this today?
TIA!

I would try manually typing the address in, in a new browser window. No way in the world would I give my deets b4 I was even logged in!

I've had to do it before too. One time my account was suspected of being accessed by a third party and I had to "prove" that my information matched the information inside my locked account. And I believe I've had to do it one other time, even though my account hadn't been breached.
I did what it asked, and have had no troubles. Just make sure you are at the REAL Paypal site (if you clicked a link to go there, leave and enter the address manually - if you still need to add all that info, its probably legit).

I'm pretty sure PayPal has said they would never ask for that kind if information so I defintely wouldn't do it. How did you get to the PayPal site?

I just tried mine and I got right in with just the password. I'd be a little suspicious.

I got there by typing in paypal.com
:(
I closed everything out and did it again and it's still asking...
This is what it says...

mine doesn't say that. Open a different browser and try again. You can also email paypal and ask.

Mine doesn't say that either. The fact that there are spelling and grammar mistakes (authorised? as more?) in there would make me nervous too. I'd probably call PayPal and check first.

That is one of the correct ways to spell it.

Yeah but enter "as more information" is a little fishy too. Either way it seems a bit sketchy, haha.
