If you're like me and sweets are your addiction it's the hardest thing for me to give up while dieting...today I made angel food cupcakes using the Betty Crocker mix you buy at the grocery store...it made 24 cupcakes at about 60-70 calories each and they are sooo yummy! They baked up nice and fluffy and the top crustily good lol...I'm so happy with them lol I think they'd be great topped with a little low-cal whipped cream and strawberries :)

Nikki!!!!! You are the worse at getting me addicted to sweet treats! I am almost afraid to try this because I don't want to deal with the cravings. You have made me into the caramel bugel crazed woman here in Oklahoma. I search stores for them.....not everyone carries them.

Oh boy......at least this will be an easy find in the grocery store! LOL They do sound VERY yummy.

lol! They don't sell them here anymore either...well I found a bag at a convenience store but it was small

Another topping to try on angel food for a bit of "luxury": peaches (canned or fresh) marinated a bit with peach schnapps.

I'll have to check out the gluten-free recipe for angel food cake - the packaged ones are SO expensive...
