I wanted to see if this hybrid project:

could be use for this March challenge(as part of the second chance challenge):
2 - One Fish, Two Fish - Dr. Seuss was born in March! To celebrate, create a layout inspired by your favorite Dr. Seuss classic.

It doesn't exaclty fit the requirements, but the rules say to be creative-I thought this might not be similar enough to the challenge, though. I just finished them up for boys' teachers and thought if they met a challenge too, that would be a bonus! TIA!!

lemme look around the forum...but I think earlier this month it was decided that it should be a layout not a hybrid project

Meg, does it mean that this baby of mine (http://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=136706&ppuser=8316) can't be counted as a part of Challenge # 31? If so, there's no problem for me to do a normal LO, of course. I would just hate to spoil things for myself by unintentionally breaking the rules.

Amy if you want to rewind that particular challenge and make it into the hybrid to count then that's fine...I got confused...lack of sleep around here

Adrianka I got confused I think (it's easy to do lol) if it's a layout challenge you redid to be hybrid that's fine..just can't "rewind" a hybrid challenge into a hybrid challenge..make sense? It needs to be 3 distinct layouts (in your case your layout was done into a hybrid)

does that make any sense at all? lol

Not sure why this wouldn't count for this months #31 as long as she does 2 more past challenges. Any of the challenges can be turned into Hybrid challenges even the 5 point ones. I think the post you linked to Meg was a scrapper wanting to "adapt" an old 10pt hybrid challenge as their only contribution to this month's #31. Or at least that's how I read it. :D :D

I was definitely planning on doing 2 more challenges - I was more concerned that while it was Dr Seuss related, it wasn't actually about a favorite Dr Seuss book rather than about the fact it was hybrid. I have another challenge in mind if this doesn't work-it's just that the month seems to be getting away from me!!:)

I realize this..that's why I corrected myself after my initial answer hehe...

also though the challenge was to create a layout inspired by a Dr Seuss classic..technically decorating a hybrid using an inspired kit isn't doing what the challenge states...doing a layout first then making it into a hybrid would fit the challenge but again...I'm not that much of a hard ass to make anybody stick to that

I totally understand! I'll use my back-up idea :)

Yes it does. :-) Everybody gets confused from time to time (heh, me included, that's why I asked the question) and you guys are cool to answer all questions so quickly. Can't imagine how much work there is with the challenges as such, so don't worry, you're doing it great. :-)
