In honor of Memorial Day...

Thank-you for the link.

To all of those who have lost loved ones and made sacrifices for our freedom, my heart and thoughts are with you today. Thank you.

Thanks for that, Lynnette! I've been a bit weepy since last night..watching the veterans at the Memorial Day Concert in DC (watching those older gentleman on the mall stand up when their branch's song was played, and visibly weeping always makes me cry), this morning at the Veteran's Memorial Dedication in our town with all those servicemen and the memories of the ones that didn't come back, so I'm probably a little more prone to cry at the moment, but this post by Stephanie made me bawl:

Our family thanks our servicemen from the bottoms of our hearts!

I love the years I get to go to the big memorial day ceremony at our Veteran's Cemetary. Its so beautiful, unfortunetly its 200 miles away so I don't get to always go. This year was one year I didn't get to go.

I had plans to attend a memorial day ceremony today but felt so crappy all weekend I never got around to looking up where they were.
