I know some people had been wondering so I just wanted to pop in real quick and say that Adam officially got home from Afghanistan around 6pm last night. Yesterday was a totally crazy day because they were scheduled to be back at 1:30pm but at 9am it was rescheduled to 5 and then eventually 6:30pm so my friend and I who were both waiting for our husbands to return were going a bit crazy, haha. But he's back now and that's what matters!

It's definitely a little bit weird having another person in the house after I've been here so long by myself but I am SO excited to have him home. I think the best part is this is the first time since about our second year of dating that there hasn't been another training-deployment-time apart already scheduled when he's come home. His next assignment is non-deployable so this time he should be home for good.
So woohoo, year-long deployment officially over! :thumbup:
