Having lots of blood work done tomorrow...

So I've been having some issues lately with what I think is my sugar. The last 2 days have been really bad...nothing is helping and I can't seem to shake the feeling. So I called the Dr. today and they ordered me to have some blood work done. I looked at the order and there are 8 different orders.
CBC, CMP, TSH, lipid panel, folate, vitamin B12, hemoglobin a1c, & 25 hydroxy-vitamin D.
I've decided that tomorrow I'm going to go to the lab and have them done so we can get the results asap and figure out what's going on with me.
So after 6pm tonight I'm not allowed to have anything but water...ugh.

wishing you luck and even though that sounds like alot of blood but hopefully they will be able to do some of the tests from the same tubes~

Good luck!! I have to have a good amount of those tests done every three months and I think the most they have ever taken is two tubes of blood. Eat a really big meal tonight right before you have to stop eating (although when I have went for lab tests they always told me nothing after midnight) Id hate to have to go that long because Im usually really cranky with just 10 hours no food!!

Good luck hon! I hate having to have blood tests done. In fact, I think I was supposed to go last year for my neurologist and I never went. :shrugs:
