Men are completely clueless

I have come to the conclusion that men are retarded/completely clueless...whatever. I am getting ready for my daughter's graduation and cannot find my strapless bra. He is helping me look and has a handful and says none of these are strapless. Ummmmm except the one he is holding up is the one I was looking for. He says see it has straps (holding it up for me to see) and showing me the back side of the bra where it snaps :blink::blink:

Yes honey but no SHOULDER STRAPS!!! Hence the name STRAPLESS???

In my book he gets major points for helping you look. Even if he didn't know wtf he was really looking for, LOL!

thats true. But it was partially his fault I could not find anything because he had moved everything that I had put together in one spot so I would not be searching for anything. When I told him I was looking for black capris he was like what are capris? Today is pretty stressful to say the least because I had a certain outfit picked out then come time to get up and the whole outfit had disappeared.

LOL... my hubby wouldn't be caught dead in the bra section. He'd blush so much that people would stare at him. LOL

edited... I'm apparently not paying attention, I thought you were shopping for bras, not in your own house. LOL

LOL my sons are like that but my husband doesnt mind. This was at home though so the only people who were here were me and him. The kids were off doing something else.

oh no Julie he will go into Victoria Secret (or other dept. store to shop for undergarments) with me he doesnt care LOL. He will buy the monthly items too without being embarrassed too. Its just funny sometimes when I say like today Im looking for black capris and he is like what are capris?

My husband would still not be helping me look for a bra, regardless of who moved what where and when. Zero chance.

Oh yea edited to add after much searching I found everything I needed to get dressed for the graduation. So I was pretty happy. At one point I was pretty close to crying because pretty much everything was just gone and I had looked EVERYWHERE!!

Maybe because we have been together for 19 years and he knows if I dont find something Im looking for I get more and more stressed and he figures if he helps we might be able to avoid that? ;)

Whatever works, lol!
When we were at the beach over Memorial Day, Jordan found a beer coozie and claimed it for himself hte weekend. It said "#1 Rule: If she ain't happy, YOU ain't happy!"

Too bad he doesn't LIVE by that rule :p

LOL Well he tries most of the time. I think I was more annoyed because I knew I had everything together and couldnt understand why anyone would move it and not only move it but put it all in different places. The bra thing just cracked me up though cause he was like Jessica I looked and none of these are strapless all the while he is holding the one I was looking for and I looked and Im like ummm what about the one in your hand? and he holds it up and like stretches it out and says "no see it has straps seee" Sooo between me laughing hysterically I had to explain that strapless means no SHOULDER straps. And he is like oh well I dont wear them how the heck should I know that? and throws it to me.

He has defenitely come a long long way since we got married though. The first time we went to the laundry mat I asked him to put the whites in a smaller washer and he is like "which ones are washers?" Ummm the ones that water goes into? LOL He thought the big dryers that lined the opposite side of the laundromat were just really BIG washers!!

LOL that's weird to me. Do bras have cooties or what?

First off, my husband is a total weirdo, lol.
Second, I think he's scared of them. He still can't work them sometimes :p
Third, my bra = my responsibility = my search. Also, refer back to my first point, lol.

LOL.. on the other hand, maybe it is good when the men in our lives are not experts at womens' undergarments? :p:p

LOL see, after 6 years of marriage, I can say that if I said, honey, I need you to help me find my **INSERT ANYTHING HERE** and he said no...we'd have issues LOL!!!

yes...especially since nine times out ten it is my husband who has lost something and he would have no problem waking me out of a dead sleep at 5 in the morning to help him find his lost ***whatever*** and it is usually lost because he never puts something in the same place twice. Like his keys will be on the table one day, the bookcase another and the entertainment center another. When he put them on the bookcase the day before he expects them to be there the next time he is looking for them.

Yea, we're not at that point yet, LOLOL! I have no doubt that we will get there eventually though, lol.

Ditto that.

For all the f'n times I've helped him find his wallet/keys/phone/cup of coffee/tie/etc he better help me find whatever I'm looking for whether he likes it or not. :D

funny thing at my house..is **I **usually lose my wallet, my phone and my sunglasses on a daily basis :p everything else I know exactly where it is, even in the clutter! my husband and kids can't even find their shoes when they are in the hall closet by the front door...LIKE always!!!!

Asking my husband to help me look for something?! Might as well ask the dog. At least she'd bark if she found something interesting. :p
