This is a general question.
I just finished a LO for one of the 'song' inspiration portfolio questions. I realized though...that is is not just pictures of me but pictures of my very special friend who is moving. I don't think she would be particularily comfortable with having her picture on the internet in my LO.
So...I suppose I could fuzz out the pictures so she is unrecognizable...or should I just find another LO to do?
What you think?

I have friends who don't want their childrens' faces to be posted on the net. I have their permission to scrap them, I just need to blur their faces. I don't post those often because I feel it takes away from the page. But that's just me. I wouldn't do another layout if you can blur out her face. First though, I'd ask her what she thinks! She might surprise you.

Oh yes, as a first, do ask. If she doesn't agree, blur her face.
As I live in Slovakia and there is no chance that other folks who I scrap would even know what is Sweet Shoppe, I don't ask for permission to publish at SSD. However, there was one photo I rather blurred the faces as I was really afraid WHAT IF the jealous ex of that girlie had found it:

But I want to establish a gallery on my personal blog which is written in Slovak, read by Slovaks (friends, colleagues...) and I will publish there only layouts with no people and those with given permission.

I always ask for permission. I wouldn't like to find my photo without me knowing somewhere on the internet, so I don't do it to others.
And posting other people's children's photos is such a delicate subject that it goes without saying that I ask. I do it with adults too, but with children I'm especially careful.
Most people say yes, but in case they don't, I'll try to get a compromise - like blurring the faces etc.
So I'd say blur her face and go for it. But ask her first.

Except for immediate family, I always blur faces before I post. I wouldn't do another LO, just post the blurred out one.

I've blurred quite a few layouts for that reason, and while it does detract a bit from the appearance of the page, that doesn't really matter if it's just for a challenge. I'd blur it and post it. :)

I personally have a hard time looking at layouts with blurred photos. I'd do another one. I won't post any layouts if I have to blur photos.

I decided to do another one. The one of my friend I decided is a little too personal. Thanks for the comments!
