turning on some Christmas music today. Just picked up Josh Groban's new Christmas CD  Anyone else in the same boat? Anyone have some great Christmas music suggestions that they love? Everyone in my family rolled their eyes at me and told me it was too early...

Me too with the Christmas music! I've been listening to Sounds of the Season on our cable music on demand and its so fun! Right now I'm really into the old-school x-mas music like Bing Crosby, Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. Santa Baby has been in my head all weekend!
P.S. How is Josh's x-mas CD? He's so incredible, I'll bet his x-mas songs are great.

Oooh, I'll have to check out that CD. I'm a little resistant to starting before Thanksgiving. :) But, I did listen to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra song on the radio last Friday....it's my guilty holiday pleasure. LOL

Oooohh, Teresa, I love TSO. Their holiday medley gives me chills. My friend and her hubby see them ever x-mas in concert and they say their live show is AMAZING. :)

I you love Josh Groban, then you love this CD. I really liked it!!

I usually wait until after Thanksgiving too, but figured since it was only 4 days away, I could get away with it :)

I love listening to the Christmas music I listened to as a child. We always listened to the Carpenters, so now my kids are growing up on it too.

I've been listening to Christmas music all day while scrapping, too! We saw Fred Claus yesterday, so that really put me in the mood. Heck, 2 of my neighbors already have their lights up (and turned on) outside, so I guess it's officially the season.

I love the old stuff, too -- Carpenters, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Jackson 5 etc. I dusted off my old CASSETTE of NKOTB yesterday, and I was jammin' to a little Funky Funky Christmas. LOL! I was seriously cracking myself up. My dd (age 9) thought I had lost my mind.

HA! Who knew we had a bunch of closet NKOTB fans? It's funny how quickly all the lyrics came back to me. I seriously sang along to the whole tape. (I never claimed to be cool).

Meghan, you can have the Knight boys... I was all about Joey Joe. ;)

OK, I'm such a nerd, but I feel the need to confess. *sigh* My very very favorite Christmas album is Clay Aiken's.

There. I said it.

I love Clay and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Carry on.

They're actually playing it on one of the country stations here. I'm happy about it for the most part - but I snicker when Frosty the Snowman comes on, and it's still 75'... :)

Puts me in the mood to Christmas shop, which is good because I haven't bought a single thing yet. D'oh.

I LOVE the NSync Christmas cd. And I was just thinking to myself that I should make sure my christmas stuff is on my ipod before this weekend, lol. I could use a good dose of Santa Baby.

My sister is seeing TSO this year and I'm BEYOND jealous. Christmas Eve Sarajevo is my all time favorite christmas song.

:D Libby you crack me up, girl!

Someone at the beginning of the thread was asking for Christmas CD suggestions. I picked up Sarah McLachlan's Wintersong. Love it!! Martina McBride has a great Christmas CD out as well. She came to Ford Center for a Christmas concert a couple years back....amazing!!

Ha! NKOTB. lol. My friends and I used to "perform" their songs in talent shows. Meaning we lip-synched, and danced, and thought we were hot stuff. lol. We'd always argue over who had to be Danny. lol. Nobody wanted to... poor Danny.

One of our local stations has begun the Christmas music around the clock and I've got it turned on this week! I'm home all week getting ready for Turkey day and couldn't resist some Christmas tunes. woo hooo!!
I'll have to check out Josh's and Sarah's CD's. I like to pick up at least one new one a year.
