flower headband and clips??

Anyone give me some inspiration for the really cute headband flowers or flower hair clips?? I mean I get the basic idea of it, I just love the way people *ex Megan Turnidge* do the silk flowers, or give the little end changes to them. I was also trying to figure the best way to lay them out and glue/attach them. Im not the most artsy in that department!!

Ummmm. I dunno. I just kinda go at it. I make my flowers first and cluster 2-3 of them together and take out my feathers and just start placing feathers behind the flowers to see what looks best. And I just glue pearls/beads wherever I I feel they're needed. lol The way I glue it all together is I cut out 2 pieces of felt in a coordinating color (if my headband is black, I use black felt) and make it so it will be completely hidden when glued to the back of the flowers. So I take one of those pieces of felt and glue the feathers and such to it (I use hot glue) and then layer the flowers on top. Then I glue it to the headband and then cover the back with the other piece of felt so it looks nice and finished and it will stay attached better. Did that make any sense?

Lol yeah that makes a lot of since!! I guess im having a hard time finding really beautiful flowers to use. Do you make the silk circle flowers yourself??

Yes, I make my own flowers. My fave flowers right now are the rolled flowers like the one you saw in that pic on FB today. This is the tutorial I used to learn how to do them, but I just adjusted the size of the strip since I wanted a larger flower. If you want to do the burned edge flowers like we've talked about before here, there's a tut here for those.
