Sun Chips bags got as far as Luxembourgish expat press :-)

I've been reading stuff on the noisy Sun Chips bags here on the forum, and I found it hilarious when I saw the expat English mag in Lux featuring an article on them. Now that's famous!

Here's the article.

I mean. Famous chip bags. *silly giggle*
 
LOL!!! I loathe those bags! I love the chips but I sure can't sneak in a midnight snack of them!
 
ugh, they are SO loud. This obnoxious guy was in the lab waiting with his pregnant wife/girlfriend while she was getting the glucose test and was EATING them. So loud ... so annoying!!! Plus .. who eats in front of a room full of fasting pregnant women getting bloodwork done??
 
They announced, not long ago, that they were pulling the bags and going a different direction because of the complaints about how loud they were.
 
What I find most amusing is that this was featured in the 352MAG - like, the last place where I'd expect to read about those bags is Luxembourgish press! :-D

oh that is so MEAN!! i remember getting the test and my stomach would be growling lol. when i was preggo with the last two i had them in Maryland at the Bethesda Naval hospital when chad was in the army. the waiting area was in the open, and there was a snack machine RIGHT THERE, taunting me.....lol

haven't come across the chip bags yet
 
Oh yes...they're the "no sneaking a snack" bag. Can't stand them, yet they are a regular purchase at our house. I can't wait till they change the packaging!
 
I feel bad complaining because they are such environmentally friendly things... but the noise is rediculous.
 
still have no idea what you are talking about. I mean Ive seen the Sun Chips (dont really buy them though) but they seem to come in regular chip bags. Ill have to look at them the next time Im in the store
 
We just bought a bag last week ... and threw it to my dh who is SUPPOSED to be cutting his CARBS per the doctor ... and told him now we will HEAR when you are into the chips!! ROTFL
