But I just had to say...do you know how hard it is to get a hold of the sixth Harry Potter movie on Thanksgiving?!!

Because of a scheduling conflict with football game for my cheerleader babysitter, we now are going to see the new Harry Potter movie in the theaters on Friday. So my plan to watch the last one (we've watched the first 5 in the last 6 days)on Friday night then see the theater one on Saturday night. Well that is now moved up a day, and wouldn't you know...

Red Boxes here don't carry it
Block Buster Online doesn't have instant download available
Neither does our cable company (they have the other five!)
So yeah.....

Do then I brave Black Friday crazies to go buy it so we have enough time to watch it tomorrow afternoon (without the boys seeing it somehow!). Or wait until the Block Buster store opens and hope they still have a copy.

Sigh. Not fair!

Ok that was totally shallow and not really truly important in the grand scheme of things but DH and I haven't been on a date night in like 6 months and I was really looking forward to it! Plus I'm not distracted by family and friends because we are all alone this Thanksgiving and DS#1 woke me up at 5 this morning sick. Pout pout pout! LOL OK rant over! Back to your regularly scheduled cooking/eating.

We did the same thing this week--caught up on all the HPs. HP6, for some reason is still hung up in 'premium channels" for us. We could PPV or see all the rest for free. Then, when we went to search for 6, found out it is on demand with HBO.

We found it at Target. Not sure if it is open today. Maybe Walmart is open? Or, even the grocery store? What about itunes? Just checked Amazon downloads and it is not available for rent/purchsase there either. Good Luck.

hope you find it. I know walmart around here is open today. At least they were last year because my daughter worked there and she was gone for a good part of thanksgiving day.

Well I was about to go around town trolling for a store open, and got a text from my babysitter. She had to cancel due to having dinner with other grandma and out of town relatives.

I shouldn't have complained I guess.
Sigh.

But on a good note, Twilight Eclipse is coming out soon on DVD.
