Album Favs?

If I'm going to get my LO's printed, I'm going to need some albums. Joann's is having a 40% off sale. I'll need 12x12's.

What are some of your favs??

I don't use post-bound albums anymore. Too frustrating to deal with. I use the 3 ring binder style now.
I like American Crafts (especially the ones that just have the color fabric on the spine and you can then decorate to your hearts content).
I also like We R Memory Keepers. I bought a 12x12 leather one in Navy with a TON of different kinds of page protectors to start documenting our Penn State season football tickets. :)

I second Colleen....

I like my canvas American Crafts and really love my 'leather' We R Memory Keepers Ding albums. I love the ease of the ring albums and also the ability to mix things up in them.....paper & digi, 12x12 and 8x8 layouts in the same album, 4x6 photo protectors and other configurations in with my 12x12 layouts.....
Love my Creative Memories albums, but being able to open the dings and add/move things around if needed is a big plus for me. Helps me not have to scrap so chronologically.

I buy usually off of Amazon :) Sorry for the rambling!!

Another American Crafts fan here. I use their ding cloth albums. The albums themselves I really like but I'm not a huge fan of the AC page protectors. They're pretty flimsy so they tend to hang out the bottom of the album from the weight of the pages. I've been thinking about trying out the We R Memory Keepers page protectors instead since the few of those I've used were much sturdier.

I have a concern with the "ring" albums...you know when you buy a 3ing binder and sometimes the pages get caught in the ring? Drives me nuts. Does this ever happen with the albums?

I don't have enough pages in mine to really worry about that (I have zero digi pages printed, I only have the handful of hybrid pages I've started doing).

But I would GLADLY deal with that over post bound albums. Post bound albums make me shudder.

And Lynette, I haven't had my WRMK album for very long, and I don't have anything even in it yet, but I can verify that it is much sturdier. The page protectors are thicker than the AC ones. My "leather" album is so pretty, I may be going the way of only WRMK stuff in the future. I love the variety of page protectors they offer too.

My binders aren't anywhere near that full but I haven't noticed this happening at all. I think maybe because they're Ding shaped (like the letter D) rather than a totally round ring that maybe it doesn't happen as easily? They seem pretty sturdy - definitely more so than a regular 3ing binder would be.

Yeah, I bought some of the 8.5x11 divided page protectors from WRMK for a project awhile back and was really impressed with how sturdy they seemed. I put one in my AC album and it didn't droop at all. I've been wanting to get some 8x8 protectors from WRMK to try them out but they don't seem to carry that size at Archivers and I haven't gotten around to ordering them yet. I'm lazy. :D
